Just a short drive from our village you'll find a variety of attractions and activities for nature lovers and families. Our historic village is nestled between wooded slopes of limestone cliffs with a beautiful river, parks, castles, historic textile mills, manorhouses, adventure and theme parks. WINTER:
DECEMBER (usually first weekend in Dec) "Matlock Victorian Weekend" an arts and crafts fair that takes place over a weekend with entertainment, music, dance, costumes, children's activities and more.
