Deep plum red in colour with distinctive purple hues, this classic blend displays aromas of ripe berries and plums with a hint of fresh mint. A soft palate with a plumy richness to the finish.
19. Rioja Crianza
Bodegas Castillo de Fuenmayor, Spain - £13.50
Aged for one year in American oak casks, and a further six months in bottles. This results in a rich ruby red colour, a gentle aroma, and a long finish, which is pleasing to the mouth.
20. Macon Mancey 'Les Essentielles'
(oak barrel) Burgundy, France - £15.00
Mancey are producing this special wine with low yield Pinot Noir. A full cherry colour from old vines having spent a short period in new oak barrels.

Aged in natural oak giving this wine a unique robust style with rich spicy overtones. (2 Stars in quide Hachette and 'Coup de Coeur' in the 2001) Better than Chateauneuf du Pape.
